Writing

  1. Tighten this. "Rewrite the text below so it says the same thing in 30% fewer words. Keep the facts, cut the filler, keep my tone. Text: [paste]"
  2. Change the audience. "Rewrite this for a reader who knows nothing about the topic. No jargon, no condescension. Text: [paste]"
  3. Find the weak part. "Act as a skeptical editor. List the three weakest claims in this draft, and the question a reader would ask about each. Text: [paste]"

Summarising

  1. Meeting notes. "Turn this transcript into: decisions made, open questions, and action items with an owner for each. Transcript: [paste]"
  2. Explain a document. "Summarise this in five bullets a busy executive would read, then one sentence on what they should do about it. Document: [paste]"

Planning

  1. Plan a week. "I have these goals [list] and about 20 hours this week. Build a realistic schedule with two protected deep-work blocks a day, and tell me what to drop if I fall behind."
  2. Prep a decision. "I am choosing between [A] and [B]. Ask me the five questions you need answered to give a real recommendation, then wait for my reply."

Marketing

  1. Subject lines. "Write 10 email subject lines under 45 characters for this offer [describe]. No clickbait, no exclamation marks."
  2. Objection handling. "Here is a product [describe]. List the eight objections a first-time buyer would have, with a one-line honest response to each."

Learning

  1. Teach me. "Explain [topic] to me at three levels: a ten-year-old, a smart adult, and a practitioner. Then quiz me with five questions."
  2. Study plan. "I want working knowledge of [skill] in 30 days at 30 minutes a day. Give me a week-by-week plan with one deliverable per week."

Getting unstuck

  1. Ask me first. "Before answering, ask me up to five questions that would make your answer dramatically better. Then wait for my reply."
